3. Why do offspring look like the parent during reproduction through mitosis?
AfilCa [17]
Living things produce offspring of the same species, but in many cases offspring are not identical with each other or with their parents. Plants and animals, including humans, resemble their parents in many features because information is passed from one generation to the next.

Explain how cyanide caused Jared’s symptoms (e.g., muscle weakness).
xenn [34]

Answer:

Cyanide may cause muscle weakness because tissues are not able to use oxygen for cellular respiration

Explanation:

Cyanide is a highly toxic compound that inhibits cellular respiration by inactivating cytochrome oxidase in mitochondria, which is a key enzyme responsible for oxidative metabolism and energy production. Thus, cyanide consumption decreases the utilization of oxygen by muscle cells, thereby causing weakness. The symptoms of cyanide poisoning include, among others, weakness, malaise, visual disturbances, muscle pains, etc.

If poorly drained soils encourage the growth of bacteria that convert nitrate to nitrogen, the effect on higher plants will be t
3241004551 [841]

Answer:(B) decrease protein production

Explanation: nitrogen gas in the atmosphere is the source of nitrogen which is useful to plants.

In the nitrogen cycle, nitrogen gas is converted to it's compounds and then back to it's gas form.

The nitrogenous cycle involves fixation, mineralization, nitrification and denitrification .

In the first three states, nitrogen undergoes changes into a state where it can be absorbed by plants.

In denitrification, nitrates (useful form of nitrogen) are converted into gaseous nitrogen.organisms involved in this process are called denitrifying bacteria eg Pseudomonads sp.

Nitrogen is an important element.

It is useful for the production of protein, DNA, RNA and chlorophyll.

When it is deficient in the soil,it affects the synthesis of proteins and yellowing of leaves due to decrease in chlorophyll

Aleksandr-060686 [28]
This might not be very accurate but.. I would assume that individuals should be concerned about toxicity levels and it’s overall nutrition. If there was no testing done on this plant before it’s release it could cause severe damage and possible allergic reaction to whoever consumes it. You should also worry about the cleanliness for there are high chances of getting some sort of parasite

sladkih [1.3K]
A nurse´s best response in a post traumatic stress disorder case would be to be very patient, kind and understandable because it is a slow process where family members should get involved, that ptsd could take months of therapies and medication, that will depend on the origin of the trauma, the event that caused that emotional disorder, today considered a disease and like one, treated and medicated.
