When considering the behavior of birds, the response of opening the mouth when presented with a dangling worm is an example of "Innate behavior".

What do you mean by Innate Behavior?

Firstly, the term behavior is define as the way through which the particular person act with others. This can be positive or a negative.

Adding to it, Innate behavior is defined as the behavior that is developmentally fixed. This type of behavior is controlled by genetics. The results of this type of behavior is automatic without any prior experience.

The behavior that this shown in given scenario shows is innate, it is because it is already natural process of the way like how the baby birds responds and because they were asking or have the thought of having food as now that they saw their mother.

It is considered as the natural way to speaking with the mother when baby birds see her because they want food to eat.

Most of the birds' movements are considered as the innate because they are genetically programmed. Their behavior is based upon the particular or given stimuli. A stimuli or situation here means anything that impact on the working of organism to react.

jok3333 [9.3K]

While there are a few possible answers to this question, an ethnopsychologist seems to be the likely answer.

Several different types of psychologists would be interested in interdisciplinary studies, especially when partnered with Archaeology. This subfield is called Cognitive Archaeology. However, Jeremy seems interested in particular in the way relationships between parents and children have changed over time. The specific subfield that studies how mental states are affected by culture is ethnopsychology.
