Controlling substance is the control of psychotropic substances, including new psychotropic substances and those with medical purposes, which is essential to prevent abuse or misuse and dependence.

Controlling Substances are drugs and other substances that have been determined by federal and state to have potential for creating an addition or dependent. Nurses responsibility for medication administration includes that the right medication is properly and correct dose  administered at the right time through the right route to the right patient.

ii) Banning smoking in public spaces- Many states in U.S. has joined hands to make sure that every individuals right to get access of clean smoke free air is fulfilled. It is banned in many states to smoke in public place such as offices, restaurants, parks, etc.
