#'s that fit in 2 piles: 2, 4, 6, 8

#'s that fit in 3 piles: 3, 6, 9, 12

#'s that fit in 3 and 2 piles: 6, 12, 18, 24

#'s that fit in 4 piles: 4, 8, 12, 16

As we can see, the number 12 is in 2, 3, and 4
