If we have I= 7.5 A:

I think my solution might just help you answer the problem on your own:

You have the formulas correct, watch your signs and BRACKETS.

B = μ0/(2π) (Current) / (Perpendicular distance)
Since μ0=4π E -7 Tm/A, we have:
B1 = (4πE-7 Tm/A)(7.5 A)/[2π (0.030 m)] = 5E-5 T
B2 = (4πE-7 Tm/A)(-7.5 A)/[2π (0.150 m)] = -1E-1 T
So BA = B1 + B2 = ?
(It looks like you just left out the square brackets, hence multiplying Pi and 0.03 and 0.15 instead of dividing them.)

For the point B, the two distances are -0.060 m and +0.060 m. Be careful with the signs. Unlike point A, the two components will have the same sign.

A positive force on the balance indicates a downward force on the silver sphere while a negative force on the balance indicates
anastassius [24]

The two spheres have opposite charges.

What are types charge?

 • A charge can be negatively charged or positively charged.
 • When two charges have opposite signs, that is positive and negative signs, the two charges will attract each other.
 • When the two charges have the same sign, it causes repulsion.

When a positive charge points downwards ↓ and the negative charge points upwards ↑, this causes attraction and shows that the two charges are different.

Thus, we can conclude that the two spheres have opposite charges.

A small dog is trained to jump straight up a distance of 1.2 m. How much kinetic energy does the 7.2-kg dog need to jump this hi
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
Answer:84.672 joules.

Explanation:

1) Data:

m = 7.2 kg
h = 1.2 m
g = 9.8 m / s²

2) Physical principle

Using the law of mechanical energy conservation principle, you have that the kinetic energy of the dog, when it jumps, must be equal to the final gravitational potential energy.

3) Calculations:

The gravitational potential energy, PE, is equal to m × g × h

So, PE = m × g × h = 7.2 kg × 9.8 m/s² × 1.2 m = 84.672 joules.

And that is the kinetic energy that the dog needs.

A 100 kg boat is floating in water. half of the boat is submerged under water. what is the weight of the boat?
Alex17521 [72]
W=MG
w is weight
m is mass
g is gravity
W=(100 kg)(9.8 m/s)
W= 980 N
hope this helps
