What does topography show?
muminat

Answer:

I. The landforms such as valleys, volcanoes, hill, plateau, etc., in a geographical area or region.

II. The shape of the land.

Explanation:

In Geography, topography can be defined as the shape and structure of the Earth surface. Thus, a topographic map is used to graphically describe this features.

A topographic map can be defined as an accurate and detailed graphical (two-dimensional) description, representation or records of both natural and man-made (artificial) features on the surface of the Earth.

A topographic map is a two-dimensional model that uses contour lines to represent points of equal elevation above sea level such as mountains, hills, plains, valley etc.

The two-dimensional model of a topographic map graphically represents the height of a mount and the steepness of a slope through the use of contour lines.

Contours can be defined imaginary lines used for connecting locations that are having similar elevations on the Earth's surface.

Hence,a topography show two (2) main things and these includes;

I. The landforms such as valleys, volcanoes, hill, plateau, etc., in a geographical area or region.

II. The shape of the land.

Memory cells may take the form of B cells. T cytotoxic cells. T helper cells. All of the choices are correct.
topjm [15]

Answer:

Having considered how an appropriate primary immune response is mounted to pathogens in both the peripheral lymphoid system and the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissues, we now turn to immunological memory, which is a feature of both compartments. Perhaps the most important consequence of an adaptive immune response is the establishment of a state of immunological memory. Immunological memory is the ability of the immune system to respond more rapidly and effectively to pathogens that have been encountered previously, and reflects the preexistence of a clonally expanded population of antigen-specific lymphocytes. Memory responses, which are called secondary, tertiary, and so on, depending on the number of exposures to antigen, also differ qualitatively from primary responses. This is particularly clear in the case of the antibody response, where the characteristics of antibodies produced in secondary and subsequent responses are distinct from those produced in the primary response to the same antigen. Memory T-cell responses have been harder to study, but can also be distinguished from the responses of naive or effector T cells. The principal focus of this section will be the altered character of memory responses, although we will also discuss emerging explanations of how immunological memory persists after exposure to antigen. A long-standing debate about whether specific memory is maintained by distinct populations of long-lived memory cells that can persist without residual antigen, or by lymphocytes that are under perpetual stimulation by residual antigen, appears to have been settled in favor of the former hypothesis.

A grassland is experiencing a severe drought. The lack of rain is causing the grass to die and the ponds and creeks to dry up.
dusya [7]

The population of fish will decrease.

The population of grazing animals will decrease.

What is drought?

A drought is a prolonged period without enough precipitation/water to support people, animals or crops.

With less water, fish and other creatures have fewer places to dwell, swim, and evade predators. In the near run, shrinking streams and lakes necessarily result in fewer fish. Drought conditions can cause water temperatures to rise, affecting cold-water species such as native trout.

The population of grazing animals would decrease as the grass is a food source and without their food source, there would be no source of staying meaning that they would result to finding new food sources through migration likely.

All the following are true of the movement of Earth's atmosphere except :
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

All are true of the movement of Earth's atmosphere except :

d. Warm air is less dense than cool air so it tends to sink towards the Earth's Surface.

Explanation:

 • When gases heat up, their volume increases and density decrease.
 • A decrease in density causes a substance to become lighter.
 • Thus, when air warms up due to heat from the sun its density decreases and it gets lighter.
 • So, it will move up.
 • The Cooler air in turn is denser and heavier so it will sink towards the Earth's surface.
 • Hence, the statement d , which states that 'warm air is less dense than cool air so in tends to sink towards the Earth's Surface' is FALSE.

What makes a eukaryotic cell function? HELP NEED RIGHT NOW
Ahat [919]
Typically, the nucleus is the most prominent organelle in a cell. Eukaryotic cells have a true nucleus, which means the cell's DNA is surrounded by a membrane. Therefore, the nucleus houses the cell's DNA and directs the synthesis of proteins and ribosomes, the cellular organelles responsible for protein synthesis.
