X = 18

Steps:

Remove the parenthesis...

4x-6+x = 12+4x

Then cancel out 4x...

-6+x = 12

Then regroup the terms...

x - 6 = 12

Add 6 to both sides...

x = 12 + 6

Then you get...

x = 18

Hope this helped!

Which of the following are properties of right triangles?
sineoko [7]
The properties that apply true are:

1–as it implies the Pythagorean theorem; a^2+b^2=c^2

3–as it implies the basic rules of visualized geometry.

4–as the greater side(hypotenuse) is opposite the right angle.

NOT 2, as the accrue angles ARE complimentary.

Ronch [10]
Part A is basically asking for the most common fuel capacity; What number of cups has the most Xs? The answer would be 1 5/8

Alissa owns a lovely country store. She buys 6 jars of honey for $65 and then sells 5
scoundrel [369]

She will have to buy 8 jars for her to make a profit of $214

How to calculate the profit percent

If Alissa buys 6 jars of honey for $65, then;

 • Cost price = 6(65) = $390

If she sells 5 jars for $72, the selling price will be:

Selling price = 5(72) = $360

If she is to make a profit od $214

Profit = selling price - Cost price

214 = n(72) - 390
72n = 214 + 390
72n = 604
n = 8

Hence she will have to buy 8 jars for her to make a profit of $214
