Answer:

B. (−17, 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

We can write the equation of a circle in the form

(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2  where (h,k) is the center and r is the radius

(x + 17)^2 + (y − 4)^2 = 23

(x - -17)^2 + (y − 4)^2 = ( sqrt (23))^2

The center is (-17,4) and the radius is (sqrt(23)

A highway map of Ohio has a coordinate grid superimposed on top of the state. Springfield is at point (1, –4) and Columbus is at
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
The midpoint, where the rest area is, will just be the average of the coordinates of Springfield and Columbus.

Rest Area=((1+7)/2, (-4+1)/2)

Rest Area=(4, -1.5)

The distance between the two cities can be found using the Pythagorean Theorem, which used in the manner is often referred to as the "distance" formula between two points.

d^2=(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)

d^2=(7-1)^2+(1--4)^2

d^2=36+25

d^2=61

d=√61  and we are told that each unit is equal to 5.38mi so the distance from Springfield to Columbus is:

D=5.38√61 mi

D≈42.02mi  (to nearest hundredth of a mile)

So. At oaknoll school 90 out of 270 students own computers. What percent of students at oaknoll school do not own computers? Rou
Arada [10]

Answer: There have 66.66..7% of Student own computer(s).

Step-by-step explanation:

What I did is make the whole school (270) be 100%, then I subtract from Whole school to own computer and the answer will be not own computer: 270 - 90 = 180, so there has 180 students who do not own computer, but we want to find the percentage. So we multiply 180 and 100, we will get 18,000! Then divide it to 270 and we will get 66.66..7, write it on top of 100, so it would be 66.66../100 which mean 66.66..% or 66.66..7%

Hopefully that’s helpful, if not then look the attachment include this answer to help better understanding. Good luck!
