7) 44
if you add up the sides 10+9+9(the bottom side)+7+5+4=44
8) 6
the sides of the triangle are 3,4,5.
4 and 5 are shown. the  three is because you subtract 7 from 10 (the length of the side) and you get three.
then take the two sides (not the hypotenuse) and multiply them by each other. that leaves you with the area of a rectangle, so devide that number in half.
i hope this was clear and helpful!!

This graph displays a linear function. What is the rate of change?
Flauer [41]

Answer:

Rate of change = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

If a line passes through two points (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2), then the rate of change of the line is

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

From the given graph it is clear that the line passes through the points (1,-1) and (2,4).

Using the above formula, the slope of the line is

m=\frac{4-(-1)}{2-1}

m=\frac{4+1}{1}

m=\frac{5}{1}

m=5

Therefore, the rate of change of given line is 5.

The results of a swim <br> Wet are shown. Who swam faster explain your reasoning
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

The Susana swam the fastest.

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Speed</u> : It is defined as the distance traveled per unit time.

<u>Formula used</u> : Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

First we have to determine speed of the following persons.

<u>For Tawni :</u>

Distance = 50 m

Time = 40.8 s

1.225 m/s which is the speed of Tawni.

--

<u>For Pepita :</u>

Distance = 100 m

Time = 60.2 s

1.661 m/s which is the speed of Pepita

--

<u>For Susana :</u>

Distance = 200 m

Time = 112.4 s

1.779 m/s which is the speed of Susana

From this we conclude that, in this problem meter affects the response and the speed of Susana is more than the Pepita and Tawani.

Thus, Susana swam the fastest.
