The Civil War had officially abolished slavery, but it didn’t end discrimination against blacks—they continued to endure the devastating effects of racism, especially in the South. They, along with many whites, mobilized and began an unprecedented fight for equality that spanned two decades.

       The origional act was a hard time for the social justiceduring the mid 90's for African Americans to gain the rights they wanted in America. The Civil War did get rid of savery for good but that didnt end the disrespect shown towards blacks. So, they continued to live with the horible racist slurs pointed towards them.by the time the 20th century rolled around African Americans had  enough of the racism. Once they had enought hey started to fight for their equality and rights.


13.How did the cold War change life for Minnesotians?
