<span>It was found that the heliocentric model, which was being used as the competing theory at the time, was simpler in the way that it described the relationships between the planets and the sun. The measurements made that placed the earth at the center of the universe were coming back with results that didn't make sense, as well.</span>

Thanks for the cryptographers that the US had, they were able to decipher around 90,000 words regarding their plans.

Thanks to this, the US was able to know Japanese plans and defend themselves for any Japanese attack before they could even strike.
