Which expression gives the length of JK in the triangle shown below?
Ann [662]
Perimeter = 3x. Area = x^2 * sqrt(3)/4. Explanation of area:. You can divide an equilateral triangle into 2 right triangles, each with a common side we will call y.. Area = area of first right triangle + area of second right triangle = (x/2)*y/2 + (x/2)*y/2 = xy/2. Now: y^2 + (x/2)^2 = x^2 so y…

If platinum has a density of 21.46g/cm³ ... if you have 5cm³ volume of platinum what is its mass
mixer [17]

Answer:

107.3g

Explanation:Density = Mass/Volume

There are two methods either by taking the above formula and inserting the values or by using Mass = Denstiy*Volume

Here I have showed you both the ways:

1st

As Desnity  is 21.46g/cm^3

Volume = 5cm^3

Let m be mass

21.46g/cm^3=m/5cm^3

Cross multiplication takes place here

21.46*5=m

107.3 =m

Therefore, mass of platinum = 107.3g

2nd

Mass = Denstiy*Volume

Density = 21.46g/cm^3

Volume = 5cm^3

m=21.46g/cm^3* 5g/cm^3

m= 107.3g
