well I don't got the exact answer buh I can give you a little info on it. The whole gender imbalance is cause they don't really like girls fr fr. They used to make it so that if you had more than two children (1 boy 1 girl) you would have to get rid of the extra child I'm pretty sure. Back to the imbalance though, they preferred men back then than women. Just do a little research fam

Basically if you had two children a boy and a girl you’d have to get rid of the girl
They thought that the women weren’t needed in China
They only wanted the men for jobs and the military
