The correct answer is:
<span>He worked with William Lloyd Garrison
</span>
Whittier became involved with the abolitionist movement when he became interested in politics during the 1830's but he lost the election and suffered a nervous breakdown. This time, he was inspired by Garrision, a passionate abolotionist to join the organization.
With the pamphlet Justice and Expediency<span> (1833), Whittier focused his writing talents on advancing the abolitionist cause. In the 1830s, he gave numerous lectures against slavery and penned poems championing its abolition. These works later appeared in the 1837 collection </span>Poems Written During the Progress of the Abolition Question in the United States.

Enrique is analyzing the poem “She Walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron. Read the poem Enrique is analyzing.
irinina [24]

Answer: A. “She walks in beauty, like the night / Of cloudless climes and starry skies;”

Explanation:

Alliteration is the repetition of the same sounds (often consonants) at the beginning of two or more words that are close together. It is often used in poetry. Alliteration helps build mood and creates rhythm.

In this poem by Lord Byron, the speaker compares a woman's beauty to the night. The line: <em>“She walks in beauty, like the night / Of cloudless climes and starry skies;” </em>contains examples of alliteration that emphasize the clarity of the women's beauty -<em> ''cloudless climes''</em> and<em> </em><em>''starry skies.''</em>
