It is C as to have freckles you have to have a dominant and recessive gene (can be worked out using a punnett square) as the child has 50% of not having freckles like his dad or 50% having freckles like his mom.

              f     ff             ff

so ff is not having freckles and being homozygous recessive, or Ff having freckles and being heterozygous.

So the child is heterozygous  so C

Mitosis is a type of cell division which results in two daughter cells which have the same number and kind of cells as the parent nucleus.  Mitosis is used to replace worn out cells and for growth.  In plants, a new cell was is built between the daughter cells, while in animals the cell membranes constrict and pinch the parent cell into daughter cells.
