Well this question the way I see it can go into either two types; A Chronic Addiction of technology or a physical condition that can arise secondary to this addiction. Many people with an addiction to technology are quite susceptible to sedentary lifestyles, and are either constantly sitting or lying down. Sitting or Lying down for long can actually cause what is called a DVT or Deep Venous Thrombosis which is a coagulation of cellular debris that can form in the leg, usually because of the constant positions. These can then lead further down the road to MI (Myocardial Infarctions or Heart attacks), CVA (Cerebrovascular Accidents or Strokes) or a pulmonary embolism, if the Thrombus decides to break off and travel down the blood stream potentially causing a more lethal blockage further in the vasculature.
