Vertical side = 3 units

Horizontal side = 7 units

Slanted side = \sqrt{5^{2}+2^{2} = 5.4 units

So, perimeter = 21.2 units

We can divide the figure into a rectangle(bottom) and triangle(top).

Total  area = Rectangle + Triangle

                  = (3*7) + ( (1/2)*7*2 )

                  = 21 + 7 = 28
