The population will be less as some will die or there are chances of equal also if no one died... Most chances are of 1st one. But it also must be the same or less. cestrela7 [59]

If your teacher gives a study sheet then study that everyday for 30min or 20min or you can go on a web called quizlet and write the study set you want and they might have it. Or if its on a person just study the person on the web. On wikipedia or other resources with good info on the person.

If a typical somatic cell has 64 chromosomes, how many chromosomes are expected in each gamete of that organism?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

32

Explanation:

Gametes are formed when the gamete mother cells enter meiosis. During anaphase I of meiosis, homologous chromosomes separate from each other and move towards the opposite poles of the cell. This event reduces the chromosome number to half in the daughter cells. Therefore, if a gamete mother cell with 64 chromosomes enters the process of meiosis, four gametes each other 64/2= 32 chromosomes will be formed. If the gamete mother cell is diploid, the gametes are said to be haploid.
