Answer: False

Explanation: Terrorists usually choose places with a large number of people, and often places with tourists, for their targets. Given that terrorists use extreme ways to achieve their goals, places with tourists which are attacked can cause great publicity to the international public. These goals are usually associated with some actions of revenge or a holy war, where they believe that these attacks are the result of the actions of Western imperialists. So it can be said that they often choose places with a large number of tourists as retaliation for some injustice that terrorists feel is being inflicted on them, based on their religious or other reasons.

I believe the correct answer is false. Terrorists do not avoid tourist locations. It would be more favorable to them since they can be noticed directly by the government due to the number of people affected. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Gennadij [26K]

Answer: There are many natural and human developed factors which affect the population distribution.

Explanation:

Natural factors:

Landforms: Plains are the most crowded places of survival of human population as they provide suitable land area for survival. The mountains and deserts are not preferred because the landforms are not suitable for survival.

Climatic conditions: Majority of people prefer to stay in areas with moderate climatic conditions.

Government policies: Those areas where government policies restrict the migration and trade of people are sparsely populated areas.

Hazard prone areas: Places where chances of oceanic tides, thunderstorms, volcanic eruptions are prominent are least occupied areas.

Main cause of population growth in urban areas are as follows:

1. Availability of food, shelter, medical, and literacy.

2. Availability of recreational areas, picnic spots, and other places.

3. Availability of occupational opportunities and chances of increase in income growth are prominent in urban areas as compared to rural areas.

Arah asks her friend, tony, what he thinks about her new haircut. While tony isn't crazy about sarah's haircut, he replies, "it
Marina86 [1]

The message is; "annoying and carelessness"

Explanation:

It is annoying when Tony said "it looks great" to Arah without having look at her haircut. She had some kind of admiring expectations from him but Tony doesn't care about her haircut. This kind of reply is painful for her as it hurts feelings. Many bad incidents happen between friends but Arah's case is some kind of different as she is a woman and women always remain possessive about their beauty. They get happy when their beloved or friends admire them when they do something new or change any style. They expect something admired from other people, so keeping this in mind, Tony's reply was annoying and it gave a message of carelessness to her.
