The gender gap in career attainment is partially accounted for by women themselves.

In our general perception, woman are thought to be lesser than men. It is generalized that women can't do everything that men can easily do. Women in our societies are raised in such environment. They think themselves less significant than men. They don't consider their achievements worthy enough to be proud of. That creates a gender gap in career attainment.

Indeed there are certain tasks that can be done by men only, like digging, mining, or any task involving hard physical movements. But it does not mean that women are minor than men. There are certain areas where women are more efficient in their work.

So we need to shorten or remove this self created gap by women. Women should not underestimate their achievements.

The gender gap in career attainment is partially accounted for by women underestimation of their own achievement, and although that today has changed considerably, women still have a tendency to exclude themselves from certain careers or situations, out of fear or distrust, and more so if they come from Latin, Asian or Middle Eastern countries.

Discuss three contributing factors that led to the human rights violation Xenophobia
sineoko [7]

Answer:

The three most important factors contributing to xenophobic violence are political leadership, lack of conflict resolution processes, and very few prosecutions

Manifestations of xenophobia include acts of direct discrimination, hostility or violence and incitement to hatred. Xenophobic acts are intentional as the goal is to humiliate, denigrate and/or hurt the person(s) and the “associated” group of people.

Xenophobia, or fear of strangers, is a broad term that may be applied to any fear of someone who is different from us. Hostility towards outsiders is often a reaction to fear. 1 It typically involves the belief that there is a conflict between an individual's ingroup and an outgroup.
