A line contains the points (-7,15) and (10,27) what is the slope of the line as a simplified fraction?
Gwar [14]

Answer:

The slope of line for given points is   \frac{12}{17}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given points of line as :

A  = ( - 7 , 15 ) i, e x_1 = - 7 ,  x_1 = 15

B = ( 10 , 27 )  i.e  x_2 =  10 , y_2 = 27

Let The slope of line be m

So , The slope with two points is given as equation

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

Or, m =  \frac{27 - 15}{10 + 7}

Or, m =  \frac{12}{17}

Hence The slope of line for given points is   \frac{12}{17} .  Answer

PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW IT!! DO NOT ANSWER FOR POINTS OR I WILL REPORT YOU!!!
aleksklad [387]
It should be 12cm because

h=height
a=area
b=base

h=a/b we have base 15cm and height 8cm

8cm=a/15cm
8cm*15cm=a
120cm^2=a

we then use the area to find the height with base 10

h=a/b
h=120cm^2/10cm

h=12cm
