This is easy. You basically round them all up. So 1.8 would turn into 2, 2.9 would turn into 3, and 5.7 would turn into 6. So now you have 2, 3, and 6. Now to calculate volume, you multiply length time width times height. So you multiply 2x3x6, and your answer is

36ft³

Hope this helps! :)

Using the graph provided, find f(x)=2
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

so x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 2

We want to find the x value when y =2

Going across where y = 2

Then go down to find the x value x=3 when y = 2

f(3) =2

so x=3

Which expression is equivalent to ( xy -6)2 for all values of x and y where the expression is defined?
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

( x y -6)² = x² y² - 12 xy + 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Explanation:-

Given that the expression ( x y -6)²

Apply formula (a-b)² = a² -2ab + b²

( x y -6)² = (xy)² - 2 × xy× 6 + (6)²

             = x² y² - 12 xy + 36

( x y -6)² = x² y² - 12 xy + 36

X + one over two(6x − 4) = 6
Maurinko [17]

The given equation is:

x+\frac{1}{2} (6x-4)=6.

Multiplying both sides by 2 we have:

2x + 6x − 4 = 12 [ multiplication property of equality]

Combining like terms:

8x-4=12

Adding 4 both sides

8x=16.[Addition property of equality]

Dividing both sides by 8:

x=2 [Division property of equality.]

The correct option in which the equation is solved are : B. Multiplication property of equality. 2. Combine like terms. 3. Addition property of equality. 4. Division property of equality.

Which two ratios form a proportion?
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

02:3 and 12:18

Step-by-step explanation:

A proportion is formed when the larger ratio can be simplified to equal the smaller ratio:

#1

02:3 and 4:12

Reducing the larger ratio: 4:12=1:3

Hence, not a proportion.

#2

02:3 and 6:12

Reducing the larger ratio: 6:12=1:2

Hence, not a proportion.

#3

02:3 and 12:18

Reducing the larger ratio: 12:18=2:3

Hence, they form a proportion.

#4

02:3 and 12:18

Reducing the larger ratio: 12:36=1:3

Hence, not a proportion.

Brice wants to build a table and put a border around it. The table and border must have an area of 3,006 square inches. The tabl
SVEN [57.7K]
B is the correct answer.

We are adding the border of x thickness to all 4 sides of the table. This makes the new width of the table 36+x+x = 36+2x and the new length of the table 72+x+x=72+2x. To find the area, we multiply the length and width:

(36+2x)(72+2x) = 3006

Multiplying the binomials, we get:
36*72 + 36*2x + 2x*72 + 2x*2x = 3006
2592 + 72x + 144x + 4x² = 3006

Combining like terms gets us
2592 + 216x + 4x² = 3006

Subtract 3006 from both sides:
2592 + 216x + 4x² - 3006 = 3006 - 3006
-414 + 216x + 4x² = 0

Writing in standard form we have
4x²+216x-414=0
