A rectangular prism has a volume of 384 cm. The width is twice the height and the length is three times the height. What are the

dimensions of the prism

Lets assume height  as x
so width will be 2x
and length will be 3x similarly.
so,
Volume of prism = w * h * l
384 = 2x * x * 3x
384 = 6x^3
dividing both sides by 6
64 = x^3 ( taking cube root of 64)
4 = x

So,
Height = 4
width = 4 * 2 = 8
length = 4 * 3 = 12

Hope this helps.. :)

Can someone plz help me no links plz I beg u I’m confused I would really appreciate it
Ghella [55]

Answer: A

Step-by-step explanation:

The maximum amount of weight the truck can carry is 1600lbs. You do not want to exceed 1600lbs, but you can reach 1600lbs. This makes the inequality symbol ≤. This symbol says that the weight load has to be less than 1600lbs, but It can equal 1600lbs. You know that the piano is 400lbs and each box is 50lbs. Since you want to figure out how many boxes you can put on the truck alongside the piano, you can use the inequality: 50x + 400 ≤ 1600.

50 represents pounds per/box

x represents the number of boxes you can hold

400 represents the weight of the piano

1600 represents the max weight.

The diameter of a circle is 20 ft. Find its area in terms of T.
Ksivusya [100]

Answer:

314.2ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Diameter= 20ft

Radius r= 20/2= 10ft

The expression for the area is

A= πr^2

A= 3.142*10^2

A= 3.142*100

A= 314.2ft^2

Hence the area is 314.2ft^2

3 plus 6 times the number of white marbles for a total of 15
Anton [14]
The problem is 3+6x = 15 with x being the number of white numbers.
Isolate variable by subtracting 3 on both sides: 6x = 12.
Isolate variable by dividing 6 on both sides: x = 2
The number of white marbles is 2.

Acceleration of 10kg Maas's pushed by a 5n force
malfutka [58]

Answer:

The answer is 0.5 m/s²

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the acceleration of an object given it's mass and the force acting on it can be found by using the formula

acceleration =  \frac{force}{mass}  \\

From the question

force = 5 N

mass = 10 kg

So we have

acceleration =  \frac{5}{10 }  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\

We have the final answer as

0.5 m/s²

Hope this helps you
