3:8 can also be written as 3/8

12:32 can also be written as 12/32

\frac{12}{32} = \frac{3\times 4}{8\times 4} = \frac{3}{8}

So thus 3:8 is equivalent to 12:32

Given: f(x) = x- 7 and h(x) = 2x + 3<br> Write the rule for f(h(xc)).
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

f(h(xc)) = 2xc-4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = x - 7

h(x) = 2x + 3

Required

f(h(xc))

First, calculate h(xc)

If h(x) = 2x + 3

Then

h(xc) = 2xc + 3

Solving further:

f(x) = x - 7

Substitute h(xc) for x

f(h(xc)) = h(xc) - 7

Substitute h(xc) = 2xc + 3

f(h(xc)) = 2xc + 3 - 7

f(h(xc)) = 2xc-4

Simplify.<br><br> ^3√−8x^24y^36
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer: -2x^{8}y^{12}

Explanation:

We have given that,

∛-8x^{24}y^{36}

Now we will using the formula,

i.e. (√ab=√a×√b)

=∛-8×∛x^{24}×∛y^{36}

Here, we use the formula i.e.

(a^{m})^{1/_n}=a^{m/_n}

∴  -2×x^{{24}/_3}×y^{36/3}

= -2x^{8}y^{12}
