First find the slope -8 + 2 / -15 + 24 = -6 / 9 = -2 / 3 is the slope. Now use subsitution  with an order pair to find the y - intercept. -2 = -2/3(-24) + b, and you find that the y - intercept is -18 ( y - intercept is b). So to find the x - intercept you know that y has to be 0, and create 0 = -2/3x -18, and find that the x-intercept is -27. In order pair form x - intercept would look like (-27,0) and y-intercept would look like (0,-18). Hope this helps.

How do you graph an inequality on a graph?
Kipish [7]

Answer:

1. Rearrange the equation so "y" is on the left and everything else on the right.

2. Plot the "y=" line (make it a solid line for y≤ or y≥, and a dashed line for y< or y>)

3. Shade above the line for a "greater than" (y> or y≥) or below the line for a "less than" (y< or y≤).

Hope this helps UwU
