in the jungle. the south Vietnamese wasn't looking to good in controlling the north so in 1965 the U.S. rapidly increased in the amount of troops they had in the country. the fighting was a gorilla warfare kind of combat, in the jungles. which the Vietnamese excelled at being so familiar with the jungle atmosphere and our soldiers did not.
