The pattern is that every 2 numbers are a pair, the first being any selected number, and the second number next to is the number times 3.

3 x 3 = 9
4 x 3 =12
7 x 3 = 21
Therefor we type 16 x 3 = 48

48 is your next number.

Answer:

DM = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm not very good with explaining but since MB is 12, vertex to the centroid which is M is 2/3 of the median, which is the line. So, since 12 is the 2/3 of the median, then DM would also be 12, since it's from vertex to centroid. Hope this helped.

Two lines, C and D, are represented by the equations given below:
defon
Substitue y=3x+2 to the y in y=x+10.
3x+2= x+10

Subtract 2 to both sides.
3x=x+8

Subtract x to both sides.
2x=8

Divide both sides by 2
2x/2 = 8/2

You are left with x = 4

Choose one equation and replace x by 4.
y = (4) + 10
y= 14

Now, you have x = 4 and y= 14. So, your ordered pair is (4,14) because both lines pass through that point.

If you do not want to do this solution, I suggest you graph it using the slope.

18, 26, 34, 42, find the 52nd term and the explicit formula
daser333 [38]
We have 26 - 18 = 8; 34 - 26 = 8; 42 - 34 = 8; (an arithmetic progression)
We use the formula an = a1 + (n-1)x8 (the explicit formula)
So, an = 18 + (n-1)x8 ;
Then, an = 8n + 10;
Finally, a52 =  8x52 + 10 = 426 (the 52nd term);
