This regime is a form of autocracy. It is a government system that operates as an absolute monarchy or a despotate. Personalist leaders are able to appoint friends or family to important offices. As a consequence, population gain respect for their leader. For example, the Kim dynasty in North Korea.
It was another religion. it would make conflicts much like there is today. which I guess you could say did pass on to today. monarchs at the time normally made it a law to all follow the same religion, however, as it grew, these rules dwindled more and more (sometimes). bit when they didn't, there was plenty of hate between groups.
There were a few causes that led to the American declaration of war against the British in 1812. At this time Britain was at war with France and attempted to cut off trade between the US and France. Additionally at sea the British were impressing US seamen or forcing them to become part of the British Royal Navy. Another cause of the war was that the British were helping to arm Native Americans to prevent American expansion westward. As a result of these forces the U.S. eventually went to war with Great Britain.
