1) Yes, given numbers it could yield variable data because the amount of trash generated would not be constant.
What is the average number of lbs of trash thrown out by households each week?
2) Google images "dot plots", it should be pretty self-explanatory
3) mean: add up all the numbers and divide by 26(the amount of numbers given)
median: basically just cross off numbers at each end of the list while alternating until u get one or two numbers. so cross off 0, then 17, then 1, then 9, etc. if it feels tedious and pointless that's bc it is, don't worry, you're probably doing it right.
range: biggest minus smallest. 17-0= 17
4) i'm too tired to explain watch this

A company performs linear regressions to compare data sets of two similar products. If the residuals for brand A form an increas
Radda [10]
I think the correct answer would be B. If the residuals for brand A form an increasing curve, and the residuals for brand B form a U-shaped pattern, then neither of the data is likely to be linear. In order to be linear, the residuals of both data set should be, more or less, linear or approaching linearity in nature. Therefore, the linear regression that was done would not give good results since it is only applicable to linear data sets. Also, you can say that the relation of the data sets of the products are not linear. It would be best to do a curve fitting for both sets by using different functions like parabolic functions.

If t varies inversely with a and t is 2 when a is 36 what is t when s is 3
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

t = 24

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that t varies inversely with a then the equation relating them is

t = \frac{k}{a} ← k is the constant of variation

To find k use the condition t = 2 when a = 36, that is

2 = \frac{k}{36} ( multiply both sides by 36 )

72 = k

t = \frac{72}{a} ← equation of variation

Given a = 3, then

t = \frac{72}{3} = 24
