Answer

a) 3/4 x = 9

    x = \dfrac{9\times 4}{3}

    x = 12

b)  10+ 3x = 5x

     2 x = 10

        x = 5

c) a + x = b

       x = b - a

d) c x = d

      x =  \dfrac{d}{c}

e)  \dfrac{1}{2} x - g < m

     \dfrac{1}{2} x< m + g

              x  < 2( m + g)

f) q + 5 x = 7 x - r

   q + r = 2 x

      x = \dfrac{q + r}{2}

Graph the lines by finding the points of intersection with the axes (intercepts): y=2.5x+5
Zolol [24]

The y intercept is 5, since slope is y=mx+b. The x intercept is at -2. If you have more problems like this there is an amazing calculator that graphs equations like this for you. www.symbolab.com. Hope this helps!

Form a paragraph proof for the following. Make sure you include all the
timama [110]

Answer:

Line BD is Congruent to Line BD due to the Reflexive property. Angle Bad is congruent to angle BCD because of the third angle theorem therefore triangle ABD is congruent to triangle CBD because all angles and sides are congruent

I don't know if that will satisfy your teacher because some prefer different things but that leaves no ground to be inferred and explains everything word for word.

If a cup of coffee has temperature 97°C in a room where the ambient air temperature is 25°C, then, according to Newton's Law o
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

The  average temperature  is T_{a} = 81.95^oC

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The temperature of the coffee after time t is   T(t) =  25 + 72 e^{[-\frac{t}{45} ]}

Now the average temperature during the first 22 minutes i.e fro 0 \to 22minutes is mathematically evaluated as

              T_{a} =  \frac{1}{22-0}  \int\limits^{22}_{0} {25 +72 e^{[-\frac{t}{45} ]}} \, dx

               T_{a} = \frac{1}{22} [25 t  +  72 [\frac{e^{[-\frac{t}{45} ]}}{-\frac{1}{45} } ] ] \left| 22} \atop {0}} \right.

             T_{a} = \frac{1}{22} [25 t  - 3240e^{[-\frac{t}{45} ]} ] \left | 45} \atop {{0}} \right.

              T_{a} = \frac{1}{22} [25 (22)  - 3240e^{[-\frac{22}{45} ]}   - (- 3240e^{0} )]

            T_{a} = \frac{1}{22} [550  - 1987.12  +  3240]

          T_{a} = 81.95^oC

<span>35c + 15l = 49 </span>
<span>15l - 27c = 18 </span>
<span>62c = 31 </span>

<span>c = 1/2 pint </span>
<span>l = 2.1 pint </span>
<span>1 cup = 1/2 pint 1 liter = 2.1 pints</span>
