Simplify the expression square root of -25/(5-2i) + (1-3i)
Georgia [21]

Answer:

I guess \frac{25}{6} -5i

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{-25}{(5-2i)+(1-3i)}              1. rewrite the expression(it helps me tbh)

\frac{-25}{5 - 2i+1-3i}                   2. Distribute the positive symbol to (1-3i)

\frac{25}{6-5i}                           3. treat i as a variable while you combine like terms

\frac{25}{6} -5i                       4. divide 25 by 6-5i but leave 25/6 as a fraction since it can't be divisible.

The graph of which of the following equations is a line parallel ot the graph of x-5y=8
kvv77 [185]

Since you don't show the graph, all I can do is to tell you how to identify which function is parallel to the x-5y=8.

First let's rearrange the function.

x-5y=8

5y=x-8

y=1/5x-8/5.

Thus, it gives us the slope of the function, which is 1/5.

And the function that is parallel to the graph would have the SAME slope. Which is 1/5. So all you need to do is to find which function has the SAME SLOPE, in this case: 1/5.
