Nonmaterial culture includes creations and abstract ideas that are not embodied in physical objects. In other words, any intangible products created and shared between the members of a culture over time are aspects of their nonmaterial culture. Social roles, rules, ethics, and beliefs are just some examples.

Why did support for the new deal art programs decline
bekas [8.4K]

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) programs faced strong criticism from Congress, the lay public and the press. This was the case of Federal Project Number One, which programs employed artists, writers, musicians and actors. Americans described these and other government projects as <em>"boondoggling"</em>, meaning that they were profligate or unnecessary. Franklin D. Roosevelt's enemies found this as an opportunity to attack, which led to the final censorship: the projects were cancelled.

Which genres of fiction are notable in Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis?
11111nata11111 [884]
<span>Allegorical, Surrealistic.

Surrealism is a story that has dreamlike qualities in which the narrative has absurd or unrealistic elements. In Metamorphosis, Gregor becomes a giant insect. This is rather absurd and unrealistic. An allegory is when a story has a hidden meaning. Is Metamorphosis just about a guy turned into a bug? No. It's also about the alienating nature of society. Throughout the story, Gregor has no real friends with people outside of his family. Once he becomes a bug, even that is gone. </span>
