Did any alleles disappear from your population? if so, why? if not, why not? how does this relate to the most fit phenotype

Alleles can disappear from a population through natural selection. This relates to the most fit phenotype because the breed with the desirable trait, or the most fit, will live and produce off spring. Eventually the less desirable trait and its corresponding allele will disappear after multiple generations pass. If the environment does not change alleles of non desirable traits will disappear. <span />

According to the image below, which season is about to begin in the northern hemisphere?
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

winter

Explanation:

On this image, we can see the Earth being tilted away by 23.5 degrees from the Sun. This tilting puts the Northern Hemisphere in a situation where it is the one that is tilted away from the Sun, thus it will receive less sunlight, as well as less direct sunlight. That will cause lower temperatures on the Northern Hemisphere, thus the winter season will start, and it will last for around three months, at least at the mid-latitude zones. On the other side, the Southern Hemisphere is more exposed to the Sun during this tilting, so t receives more sunlight, and more direct sunlight, resulting in summer in this half of the planet.

What biodiversity restoration method can biologists follow to increase the density of trees and the canopy thickness in an area
alekssr [168]
Reforestation is a biodiversity method that can increase the biodiversity by replanting with trees. Reforestation will help forest recuperate from logging, rest fires and human abuse. Replanting trees will increase the density and variety of the trees and by doing so, wildlife will also increase. Although reforestation is a common approach to relive forest, forest management is still needed to maintain the endemic or native species.

Nataliya [291]

Answer:

The expansion of excess water as it turns to ice inside the cells would break the cells apart

Explanation:

We know that water expands anomalously. It expands between 4- 0°C.

Hence water expands upon freezing. Ice has more volume than liquid water and takes up more space in plant cells.

The expansion of excess water as it turns to ice inside the cells would break the cells apart
