The nurse should take care to move the patient from one side to another using the log roll technique, which involves moving a patient without flexing the spinal column. It involves stretching the patient's legs and holding the head in order to immobilize the neck. Twisting the patient especially after the surgery can injure the spine.
A two year old can memorize faces, colors, social emotion, words and movement. They can actually memorize a lot for their small age. Of course they can't remember big details and such but they still can recognize small details.
