Viruses are composed of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) and protein. Viruses have ability to reproduce or replicate using energy of the host as they cannot produce energy. They do not made of cells. Thus, they lack nuclei. Based on these features, viruses are considered as connecting link between livings and non-livings.
