I'm solving your system by substitution.
2x-4=5, 5x+4y =2
Step# 1: solve for x
2x - 4+ 4= 5 + 4( add +4 to both sides)
2x = 9
x = 9/2
Step# 2: solve for y

5(9/2) + 4y = 2
4y + 45/2 = 2
4y 45
y = 45/4 = 11.25

Given that ¾ of a cup of yogurt is 80 calories and we need to find the calories in ¼ of a cup . So here we can use unitary method to find the calories.

=> ¾ cup of yogurt has 80 calories

=> 1 cup of yogurt has 80 ÷ ¾ calories .

=> ¼ cup of yogurt has 80 × 4/3 × 1/4 calories = 26.66 calories .
