James is best friends with Nathan, Nathan is his only friend that he's ever had and has been for almost 7 years. The two are ver

y close, sharing things they would not share to their own family. They talk to each other almost everyday and hangout regularly. Nathan starts hanging out with his other friend Fiona and gradually stops talking and hanging out with James. James eventually hears them together at a store he regularly visits, he hears Nathan call her "his best friend" and hears no mention of him. James feels forgotten, replaced, and alone. Answer:

Simply try to re-establish the connection

Explanation:

Attempting to reconvene with them and maybe they will come around. Try making time to hang out and do fun stuff with them. Also people can have multiple best friends and when he said that in the store he could have said it out of impulse in the situation so don't take it to personal.

Involuntary, court-ordered sterilization of the mentally handicapped was once approved by the U.S. Supreme Court in Buck v. Bell
Dafna11 [192]

Answer: eugenics

Explanation:

The Buck vs. Bell ruling (May 2, 1927) that approved the eugenic sterilization of those considered genetically feeble, led the way to similar laws in 30 states under which around 65,000 people were sterilized without consent.

The Virginia General Assembly would recognize that the sterilization law was founded on flawed science and on May 2, 2002, a marker was built to acknowledge Carrie Buck in Charlottesville, her hometown.
