Well....if she opened one package and gave 3 juice boxes away...and now she has 27 juice boxes.....x - 3 = 27...where x stands for the total number of juice boxes......x = 27 + 3.....x = 30....so there are 30 juice boxes in each package

Lets set up an equation. We know how many packages were bought 5 and each package has the same amount. And the the total left was 27 after giving away 3. That means the overall total is 27+3
So 5x=27+3
5x=30
X=6
So 6 juice boxes per package
