Since you did not include the figure with the diagram, I searched for a diagram of a question with the same wording of yours.

So, I will help you to solve the problem based on that figure. Such figure is now attached. Please, refer to it.

The turn B is the arc of a sector of circumference of radius 3 and angle 102°.

1) The first step is to caculate the full circumference of such circle.

That is 2π×radius = 2π(3) = 6π ≈ 6(3.14) = 18.84

2) The second step is to calculate the length of the arc

arc = circumference × angle of the sector / 360° = 18.84 × 102°/360° = 5.338

3) The third and final step is to use the scale to pass the units to miles:

5.338 units × 0.1 miles /  unit = 0.5338 miles

Rounded to three decimals that is 0.534 miles ← answer

Let's call the number "n"

if we write in an equation what you said it's like this:

n*2+4-n-3=n+1.

first i will move all the "n"s to the left and all the numbers to the right

n*2-n-n=1+3-4

which is....

0=0

this means that for EVERY number, if you double it, add four, subtract three, you will get this number plus one. <span />

Solar panels installed in a backyard have a cross section that is a right triangle. The diagram shows the approximate dimensions
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

About 4.2 ft

Explanation:

The area of the traingle can be calculated in two ways.

A=\frac{1}{2}\text{width}\cdot\text{length}

where width = 4.4 ft and length = 13.6 ft.

Putting in the values for width and length gives

\begin{gathered} A=\frac{1}{2}13.6\cdot4.4_{} \\ \boxed{A=29.92ft^2} \end{gathered}

The other way that the area can be calculated is

A=\frac{1}{2}\cdot\text{height}\cdot\text{base}

where height = vertical length and base = 14.3 ft; therefore.

\begin{gathered} A=\frac{1}{2}14.3h \\ A=7.15h \end{gathered}

This must equal the area of the triangle we found above; therefore,

A=29.92=7.15h29.92=7.15h

dividing both sides by 7.15 gives

h=\frac{29.92}{7.15}\boxed{h\approx4.2ft}

which is our answer!

Two lines that intersect at right angles are perpendicular.

<span>A. The statement is not reversible.   </span>

<span>B. Yes; if two lines intersect at right angles, then they are perpendicular.   </span>

<span>C. Yes; if two lines are perpendicular, then they intersect at right angles.   </span>

<span>D. Yes; two lines intersect at right angles if (and only if) they are perpendicular.</span>

Your Answer would be (D)
