Habeas corpus is the right to a speedy trial

Explanation:

"Habeas corpus" which means "produce the body" literally is an order given by a judge in a court of competent jurisdiction to an official in charge of detaining a suspect, the order entails that the official produces the suspect in the law court for trial and also give a valid evidence for his or her detention.

Who did Alexander the Great want to invade but the mutiny of his own troops forced him back
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer: Alexander the Great had made plans for invading India, but his troops became mutinous and forced him back.

Explanation:

Alexander the Great had already conquered Persia, and had a very massive empire and very successful army. He had hoped to extend his empire into Asia, and so he would start doing that by attacking India. However, things became difficult as the Indian army was using elephants so Alexander's phalanx of soldiers started to be defeated. Thus, the troops became rebellious and wanted to not fight anymore.

In this speech, FDR describes four essential freedoms to which every person in the world is entitled. Describe each, and explain
Nitella [24]

Answer: The freedoms that he describes are freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Freedom of speech which means you can have the freedom to express yourself. Freedom of religion which means you can choose your own religion. Freedom from want, which basically means you don't have to worry about basic things such as when you're going to get your next meal or something. Freedom from fear which means that no nation would commit an act of physical aggression against another. FDR believed that these freedoms were threatened because of the current way that America was acting towards wars. He felt that American's believed that they were overpowered and could take down any other country. He was trying to show that they needed help from other nations and why they should move on from the previous policies they had in WW1. He also chose to make this speech since he knew everyone would be listening.

Explanation: Stay safe and have a good year! :)
