The Indo River, located in Pakistan, is one of the largest and most important rivers of the Indian subcontinent. The setting of the Indus River was the scene of the development of the Indus Valley Civilization, one of the first three civilizations of the Old World. It is estimated that this civilization lived in the region of the River Indu between 3300 and 1300 before Christ and that counted up to five million inhabitants.
