Answer:

a) the no of coupons used at a super market cannot be normal as the no of coupons will not be symmetrical about the mean.  In other words, the no of coupons will be increasing and hence curve cannot be bell shaped as in normal.  So not normal

2) The weights of pumpkins that are delivered to a supermarket will be normal provided the number of pumpkins is large.  This is because of central limit theorem that the average weight of pumpkin will follow a normal distribution when sample size becomes large.

3) This is a discrete distribution because no of raisins is countable and hence cannot follow a normal distribution.  Normal distribution is meant for only continuous variables.

4) The amount of time customers spend waiting will follow an exponential distribution and cannot be normal

It is expected that 563 quadrillion thermal units of Btu (British thermal units) of energy will be
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

the expected rate of change in consumption is 11.83

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the expected rate of change in consumption is shown below:

= (Expected quadrillion thermal units - 2003 quadrillion thermal units) ÷ (difference in years)

= (563 - 421) ÷ (2015 - 2003)

= 142 ÷ 12

= 11.83

hence, the expected rate of change in consumption is 11.83

We simply applied the above formula so that the correct value could come

And, the same is to be considered
