The equation would be 17+5x1
PEMDAS
Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction
So multiplication would go first 5x1=5
The new equation is 17+5 and you get 22
So the value of 17+5x1 is 22

Hope this helps!! :D

Evaluate 10 m + n 2 4 10m+ 4 n 2 10, m, plus, start fraction, n, squared, divided by, 4, end fraction when m = 5 m=5m, equals,
Bond [772]

Answer:

\therefore10m+\frac{n^2}4 =54

Step-by-step explanation:

Variables : The value of a quantity which can be changed.

Monomial : Monomial contains only one term.

Example 3x, 4,6y² etc.

Binomial: Binomial contains two terms.

Example 3+4y, 20+7z etc

Trinomial: Trinomial contains 3 terms.

Example 5x-2y+5, 7z-3y+4x etc.

Given that,

10m+\frac{n^2}4  [ It is a binomial.]

Putting m =5 and n=4

= (10\times 5)+\frac{4^2}4

=50+\frac{4\times4}{4}

=50+4

=54

\therefore10m+\frac{n^2}4 =54

Bess [88]
36 because in total there are 46, 20 playing football, 16 playing hockey and 10 who plays both so if you add 20+16+10 you get 46, but then you take away the 10 who play both to get an answer or 36 students

Benjamin decides to treat himself to breakfast at his favorite restaurant. He orders chocolate milk that costs \$3.25$3.25dollar
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

4 stacks of packages

4 * 4 = 16 pieces of pancake

Step-by-step explanation:

Maximum amount to spend ≤ $30

Milk chocolate = $3.25

Pancakes per stack = 5.50 (sold in stacks of 4)

Let number of stacks = s

In equality terms :

3.25 + 5.50s ≤ 30

5.50s ≤ 30 - 3.25

5.50s ≤ 26.75

s ≤ 26.75 / 5.50

s ≤ 4.86

Hence, 4 stacks of pancakes can be purchased

Guests at a wedding had a choice of three main courses: fish, beef or chicken. ⅖ of the guests ordered fish, 3/10 ordered beef.
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

3/10

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the fraction of guests that ordered chicken, we must evaluate:

1 - 2/5 - 3/10

= 1 - 4/10 - 3/10

= 1 - 7/10

= 3/10
