Alexandra [31]
In an attempt to lower the risk of war the united states were party to the five power treaty which limited the size of naval warships for those who signed the document. The five power treaty which is also known as Washington naval treaty was a treaty between the major nations that had won world war 1 which decided to avoid an arms race by limiting naval construction. It was discussed at the washington naval conference from November 1921 to February 1922 and contracted by the governments of the united kingdom, united states, japan, france and italy. It limits the construction of battleships, battle cruisers and aircraft carriers by the undersigned. The quantity of other classifications of warships which comprises vessels, destructive force and submarines were not restricted by the treaty but those ships were restricted to 10,000 tons’ transposition.

Which action is most likely to be taken by a state political party rather than a
Bad White [126]

Answer:

The answers are:

A. Coordinating fund-raising efforts in a campaign for governor

office.

B. Determining the party's position on controversial foreign policy

issues

Explanation:

This is because when it's local, it's usually in support of local elected officials. It has nothing to do with national officials. However, when it is a national party, they could endorse a presidential candidate because that is ultimately more important and affects all people- hence the national. This is because whoever is chosen in such an important election changes the future of a country, and is something national organizations should deal with- not local ones.

Hope this helps!

In what ways did the scientific revolution change or challenge beliefs
Vikentia [17]

The Scientific Revolution (17th century) changed and challenged current beliefs of the time by establishing what we know today as the scientific method and a scientific view of the world. That is, it established the meaning and importance of science that we use and believe until today with slight changes.

This revolution showed that the world can be understood and that laws of nature can be discovered through the scientific method. It established the scientific practice of observation, empirical experiment, and theorization of laws.

It was during this revolution that human agency to understand the world became more important than a Christian view of the world as something revealed by sacred texts.
