Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

A. Antibodies to A and B are present in the red cells.

Explanation:

AB positive is a blood type with the presence of A and B antibodies in the red blood cells, with the absence of A and B antigens. This blood type is referred to as the “universal recipient” because individuals who are AB positive can receive from all blood types including O, A and B. AB positive is only able to donate blood to patients who are AB positive AB is referred to the rarest blood type.

Beaked whales feed at various depths, but they defecate at the ocean's surface. nitrogen-rich whale feces deposited in surface w
IgorC [24]
I think if the whale population decreased the surface fish populations would decline due to reduced populations of algae. This can be simply explained by the fact that, if the whale population is decreased, it means that the nitrogen rich feces that is supply nutrients to the algae would also decrease and therefore decrease the population of the algae and as a result the population of of the surface fish would also decline.

In a negative feedback process, the resulting action will always be in the ______ direction of the stimulus.
Allushta [10]

In negative feedback processes, the resulting action will always be in the opposite direction of the stimulus.

What are negative feedbacks?

Negative feedback is a term used in association with homeostasis. It is the biological process used to antagonize a stimulus in order to return the body to homeostasis.

For example, the normal body temperature of humans ranges between 36.5 to 37 degree Celsius. Beyond this range, the normal body temperature has been breached.

If it is not returned to normal within a short period, such a person is at risk of suffering irreversible damage to their body or even death.

Thus, in order to return the body system to the normal body temperature, negative feedback will be activated. This feedback will work in the opposite direction to the process causing a breach of the normal temperature range.

By doing so, the body temperature will quickly return to normal.
