Ofcourse it is a linear function
why because every of x value of this function is 23 in result always

... so when we draw a chart it will be line on 23 coordinate ;)

Write the equation for (-8, -8), with a slope if three
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

Part--1:

We know that a equation in point-slope form is represented by:

<em> y-y1=m</em>

<em />

where m is the slope of the line and  is a point through which the line passes.

<em />

<em>               </em>

<em />

 Consider a equation in a point-slope form as:

This means that the slope of the line is: 5

and the line  passes through the point (1,5).

Part--2:

Now as we know that if a line has a slope as m then the perpendicular line has a slope: -1/m

Since,

Let this perpendicular line passes through (2,6)

Hence, the equation of a line in point slope form is given by:

The admission fee to an amusement park is $28. It costs an additional p dollars to rent a locker to hold your belongings. The to
mina [271]

The overall equation we can generate from the problem is:

C = (28 + p) * x

where C is the total cost, p is the payment for the locker, and x the number of people

We can calculate for p:

180 = (28 + p) * 5

28 + p = 36

p = 8

Therefore the cost of one person, x = 1:

C = (28 + 8) * 1

C = $36

Find the equation of the circle whose center and radius are given.
timama [110]

Answer:

(x-7)^2 + (y+3)^2 = 49

Step-by-step explanation:

The general equation for a circle is given by

(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

where ( h,k) is the center and r is the radius

(x-7)^2 + (y- -3)^2 = 7^2

(x-7)^2 + (y+3)^2 = 7^2

(x-7)^2 + (y+3)^2 = 49

Suppose a country has a population of 50 million and projects a growth rate of 4% per year for the next 20 years. What will the
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

The population of this country in 11 years will be 76972702.82

Step-by-step explanation:

The population of this country in 11 years can be calculated using the formula

Population in 11 years =  Starting population x (1+growth rate)^{period}

Thus

Population in 11 years =50000000×(1+0.04)^{11} =76972702.82
