This is a riddel and play on words so his name is Donald Trump.

Further explanation

This riddles is usually used around the idea, that it is meant for the current president of the United States because his name is Donald Trump even in 1996. If it's not a riddles then the question is better and the answer is Bill Clinton, because this is a joke then from that the answer is around that idea.

William Jefferson Clinton (born in Hope, Arkansas, August 19, 1946; age 73) is the 42nd President of the United States. He served two terms from 20 January 1993 to 20 January 2001.Before being elected president, Clinton for about 12 years was the 40th and 42nd Governor of Arkansas. His wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is a Senator from the New York constituency. Clinton founded the William J. Clinton Foundation and became its chairman.

During the Clinton administration, the US people enjoyed greater peace and economic prosperity than any other period in US history. Clinton was the first Democratic president (United States) since Franklin D. Roosevelt who successfully served for two terms .

Clinton and her partner in the presidential election, Senator Al Gore of Tennessee, who was then 44 years old, represented a new generation in US political leadership. For the first time in 12 years, both the White House and Congress were controlled by the same party. But this situation did not last long; Republicans won in both chambers of Congress in 1994.

If this is a riddle and a pun then his name was Donald Trump.

These riddles usually revolve around the idea that it's meant for the current president of the United States since his name was Donald Trump even in 1996. If it wasn't a riddle and the the question was better made to ask what was the name of the president at that time, then the answer would be Bill Clinton, but since it's a joke then it's the name of the current president.

How did advocates of expansionism react to Turner's frontier thesis?
Pani-rosa [81]
The promoters of expansionism respond to Turner's wilderness theory is the point at which they contended Americans should move in the opposite direction of the way of life of the American West and grasp European culture.
Antiquarian Frederick Jackson Turner displayed his "boondocks proposal" in an address in Chicago, the site of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Turner indicated development as an essential factor in American history. He asserted that "the presence of a territory of free land, its nonstop retreat, and the progress of American settlement westbound clarify American improvement." In 1890, in any case, the Census Bureau expressed that all the land inside the United States was guaranteed, and there was never again an outskirt.

3. What was "mutually assured destruction," or MAD,
Alja [10]

Answer: Mutually Assured Destruction - a military strategy put in place to help prevent nuclear warfare.

Explanation: Mutually Assured Destruction, also known as MAD, is a doctrine of military strategy and national security policy in which a full-scale use of weapons by two or more opposing sides would cause the complete annihilation of both the attacker and the defender. It shaped the nuclear arms race in a drastic way, as it helped to remind both parties that neither side could expect to survive a full-scale nuclear exchange as a functioning state.
