Let x be the age ( in years ) of each daughters,

∵ Mother is 30 years older than her daughters,

⇒ Age of the mother = x + 30

Now, after 2 years,

The age of each daughter = x + 2,

And, the age of the mother = x + 30 + 2 = ( x + 32 ) years,

According to the question,

3(x+2+x+2) = x + 32

3(2x+4) = x + 32

6x + 12 = x + 32

5x = 20

⇒ x = 4

Hence, each of the daughters is 4 years old.
