The problem solving approach of the concrete operational thinker is a logical approach.

If we have to relate the question with Piagetian cognitive development, then we would arrive to the fact that concrete operational thinker would use a logical approach in solving a particular problem. The third stage of Piagetian children cognitive development (concrete operational stage) involves logical reasoning.

Further Explanation

Concrete operational thinker is the third stage of cognitive development. At this stage children thought are more flexible, logical and organized.

Their thinking is primarily defined by logical reasoning about actual situations without being affected by the appearance. During this stage, the children’s capacity to consciously and thoughtfully choose to achieve goals begins to appear.

According to Piagetian ways of thinking, the capacity to imagine the aftermath effect of an action without actually having to occur is seen as mental operation. During a mental operation, children thought of “what if” to better understand situation around them.

At this stage, children begin to master addition and subtractions. They involve in using mental arithmetic in an operation.

In the concrete operational stage, children learn to group items into classification. They are also able to make conclusion but still been unable to reason deductively.

A concrete operational thinker replaces intuitive reasoning with logical reasoning. Reasoning will be based on observable quantities and qualities, not the hypothetical. As and example , a concrete thinker would know that changing the shape of a lump of clay does not change how MUCH there is of the clay, as they can observer the clay.

What are two reasons why the Cherokee were fearful of moving to the new lands? Provide evidence from the document to support you
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

1 )The land west of the Mississippi was unsuitable for farming and white settlers wanted to move to the Southeast where Native Americans lived. They wanted the government to move the Native Americans to the Plains so the whites could settle in the Southeast for farming.

2 ) Little thought had been given to these, and in the crowded and unsanitary conditions, measles, whooping cough and dysentery took a terrible toll throughout the summer. After most of the Cherokee had been collected, relocation by boat began in August, but drought had made Tennessee River unusable.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely; Victoria<3
