A cylindrical tank is half full of oil The cylinder has a base radius of 100cm The height of the cylinder is 250cm 1 litre =1000
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

3,927 liters.

Step-by-step explanation:

So, in this question we are given the following parameters or information or data which is going to assist us in solving this particular Question;

=> "cylindrical tank is half full of oil."

=> "The cylinder has a base radius of 100cm The height of the cylinder is 250cm"

=> 1 litre =1000cm^3."

Therefore, the formula that we will be making use of in this question is given Below as;

=> Volume = 1/2 × height × (radius)^2 × π.

=> Volume = 1/2 × 250 × 100^2 × π.

Volume = 3926990 cm^3.

Recall that 1 litre =1000cm^3.

Hence, volume = 3,927 liters.
